New Species of Dravido Geckolepis
▪ Researchers from the Wildlife Biology Department of Ooty Government Arts College have
discovered a new lizard species in the Western Ghats.
▪ Abhinesh, Naveen, Srikantan, Naveen, Srikantan, Babu, and Ganesh conducted research on lizard species found in the Western Ghats in the Coonoor forest area over the past few months.
▪ It is noteworthy that this research paper has been recently published in an international research journal called Western Ghats Bionomina of India.
