India-Ghana Sign 4 Agreements
▪ Four important agreements were signed between the two countries in sectors including Ayurveda and traditional medicine.
▪ The BRICS summit is scheduled to be held on July 6-7 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. En route to
participate in this summit, Prime Minister Modi is undertaking a tour of Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, and Namibia.
▪ India is ready to share UPI digital payment transaction technology with Ghana. India will support Ghana’s agricultural program called ‘Feed Ghana’.
▪ Medicines will be provided to the Ghanaian people at affordable prices through Jan Aushadhi
(People’s Pharmacies).
▪ Yesterday, Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama presented Prime Minister Modi with the country’s highest honor, the ‘Officer of the Order of the Star’ award.
