The National Statistical System -2024 Data Collections and Records
▪ The National Statistical System, under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, has created new modernized databases and record collections
▪ This is a compilation of approximately 270 databases and records obtained from extensive sources across 40 central government ministries and departments, covering various sectors including agriculture, health, education, labor, rural development, tourism, social justice, and banking.
About the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
▪ The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation was formed in 1999. It has two major divisions:
✓ Statistics Division: Central Statistics Office, Information Technology Division, National Sample Survey Office
✓ Programme Implementation Division: Twenty Point Programme, Infrastructure Monitoring, MP Local Area Development Scheme
