Nimirndhu Nil” Project
▪ The Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises announced that awareness and training programs called “Nimirndhu Nil” (Stand Tall) will be implemented at a cost of Rs. 19 crores for 6 lakh students studying in 2,000 educational institutions to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among youth.
▪ The maximum limit of the 10 percent additional investment subsidy provided to micro manufacturing enterprises has been increased from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs.
▪ A Coconut Fiber Value-Added Product Development Center will be established at a cost of Rs. 9.86 crores
