Laser Weapon System to Destroy Drones Instantly
▪ The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) have successfully tested a laser weapon system that can destroy drones instantly.
▪ DRDO tested the 30-kilowatt laser-guided MK-2 energy weapon system in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
▪ This indigenously developed weapon system successfully targeted and destroyed drones from a distance.
▪ It also intercepted multiple drone attacks and destroyed surveillance sensors.
