- Navigation facilities for visually impaired was inaugurated in Chandigarh railway station in Punjab. It is fifth in the countryand first in North India to have this facilities for visually impaired.
- It was developed by Indian Railways with the help of NGO ‘Anuprayaas’.
- Braille Tactile Map, signages are also installed.
This helps the visually impaired passengers to find their needs in Chandigarh railway station.
