Oxfam India’s Report on Inequality:

  • The Rights Group Oxfam International has released the India supplement of its annual inequality report on the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting
  • Title of the Report – “Survival of the Richest”

Highlight of the report: 

  • The richest 1% in India own more than 40% of the country’s total wealth
  • The bottom half of the population together share just 3% of country’s wealth
