National Milk Day – November 26
- The day is annually observed across India to commemorate the birth anniversary of
Dr. Verghese Kurien who is famously called as the Father of the White Revolution in India.
- November 26, 2023 marks the observance of 10th National Milk Day and 102nd birth anniversary of Verghese Kurein.
- The Operation Flood, also known as White Revolution in India was launched in 1970 to make India self-dependent in milk production.

- Irish author Paul Lynch won the 2023 Booker Prize for fiction for his novel Prophet Song.
- He is the fifth Irish writer to win the Booker prize.
