▪ The day commemorates the adoption of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992.

World Hydrogen Summit 2024
▪ World Hydrogen Summit 2024 was recently held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
▪ The summit was organised by Sustainable Energy Council in partnership with Netherlands government.
▪ India has set up its pavilion at the summit for the first time.
▪ The pavilion was set up by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.
