World Audiovisual and Entertainment Summit
▪ India will host the First World Audiovisual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in November 2024 in Goa.
▪ The event will be hosted alongside the International Film Festival of India in Goa.
▪ The event will help India to make a mark in the media and entertainment sector.
About International Film Festival of India
▪ Formation: 24 January 1952.
▪ Hosted jointly by the Government of Goa and the Directorate of Film Festivals.
