Appointment of Prime Minister’s Second Principal Secretary
▪ Shaktikanta Das, former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, has been appointed as the Second Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister.
▪ He previously served as a member of the 15th Finance Commission headed by N.K. Singh, as India’s representative to the G20, and as the 25th Governor of the Reserve Bank.
