Pi Day – Celebrating the Infinity Beauty of Mathematics
▪ International Day of Mathematics, or Pi Day, is celebrated on March 14 every year to recognize the mathematical constant, Pi (π), which is approximately 3.14159
▪ The theme of International Day of Mathematics 2024 is ‘Playing with Math’.
▪ UNESCO marked Pi Day as the ‘International Day of Mathematics’ during its general conference in 2019.
World Consumer Rights Day
▪ It is observed annually on March 15 to promote consumer rights and ensure that they are upheld globally.
▪ Theme – ‘A Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles.’
▪ World Consumer Rights Day was first observed in 1983 to recognize and strengthen the importance of consumer rights worldwide.

Astra Missile
▪ Astra Missile was successfully test-fired from the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) AF MK1 prototype off the Odisha coast.
▪ It is a An advanced Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) designed for fighter aircraft.
▪ It enables aircraft to engage targets beyond 100 km without direct visual contact
▪ Developed by DRDO ( Defence Research and Development Organisation ) , India
