DRDO successfully tests ballistic missile “Agni Prime”
- The New Generation ballistic missile ‘Agri Prime’ was successfully flight-tested by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha on 7th June.
- This was the first pre-induction night launch conducted by the users after three successful developmental trials of the missile, validating the accuracy and reliability of the system.

- It is the sixth missile in the Agni (missile) series of ballistic missile.
- Surface to surface, with dual redundant navigation and guidance system.
- Operational range – 1000–2000 kilometers
Sixth edition of India-Maldives Exercise ‘Ekatha’
- Indian Navy divers and Marine Commandos are in the Maldives for the sixth edition of Exercise Ekatha with Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) from 4th June to 3rd July.
- The annual exercise is conducted between the two forces to enhance interoperability in diving and special operations.

The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu reached Belgrade, Serbia.
- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in the Serbian capital on a state visit and was received by her Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.
- This is the first visit by an Indian President to Serbia.
- The President will have a bilateral meeting with President Vucic, and meet Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
