Indian Organ Donation Day -August 6
▪ The 15th Indian Organ Donation Day was observed on August 3, 2025, marking the anniversary of India’s first successful deceased donor heart transplant on the same day in 1994.
▪ Theme 2025 – “Angdaan – Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyan”, highlighting the importance of organ
donation in saving lives.
