International Monetary Fund (IMF)has upgraded India’s growth expectations
▪ The IMF has revised India’s GDP growth forecast:
✓ 2025–26: Upgraded to 6.4% (from 6.2% in April 2025).
▪ 2026–27: Upgraded to 6.4% (from 6.3% in April 2025).
▪ World Economic Outlook is a report published by the International Monetary Fund twice a year
▪ The World Economic Outlook (July 2025 update) also revised its global growth:
✓ 2025: Upgraded to 3.0% (from 2.8%).
✓ 2026: Upgraded to 3.1% (from 3.0%).
Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA)
▪ APEDA was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act passed by the Parliament in December, 1985.
▪ The Authority replaced the Processed Food Export Promotion Council (PFEPC).
▪ It works under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

▪ Objective: To develop and promote the export of scheduled products.
▪ Headquarters: New Delhi.
