Appointment as Supreme Court Judges
▪ Bombay High Court Chief Justice Alok Arade and Patna High Court Chief Justice Vipul
Manubhai Pancholi were both appointed as Supreme Court judges.
▪ The Supreme Court Collegium recommended their appointment and the Union Law Ministry issued a notification for the appointment of the two judges.
▪ With their assumption of office, the Supreme Court will reach its full strength of 34 judges.
