- Jammu & Kashmir (J&K)administrative council approved the implementation of Dairy cooperative scheme for dairy cooperative society with the support & sponsorship of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The administrative council is headed by Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu.
- The scheme aims to increase the milk production in J&K by empowering dairy cooperatives with easy financial support for production, processing, marketing & crate infrastructure for milk processing.
