Rajasthan to implement a blindness control policy
- Rajasthan has become the first State to implement a policy to control blindness
- Objective: To ensure the “Right to Sight”
- Features:
- A drive will be undertaken in the State to reduce the rate of blindness
- The policy aims to bring down the prevalence rate of blindness in the State, from 1.1% in 2020 to 0.3%.
