One Nation One Subscription
▪ In response to the vision of making India Atmanirbhar and Viksitbharat@2047, the Government of India approved One Nation One Subscription scheme to provide country-wide access to international high impact scholarly research articles and journal publications to students, faculty and researchers of all Higher Education Institutions managed by the central government and state governments and Research & Development Institutions of the central government.
▪ The One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) intends to acquire national licenses for ejournal/database subscriptions from most of the prominent journal publishers.
▪ ONOS is starting its operation from 1st January 2025. ONOS phase-I has been approved for the calendar years 2025, 2026 and 2027
Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA)
▪ Government of India has launched Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), a transformative initiative to drive inclusive and sustainable development in tribal regions
▪ DAJGUA aims to address critical gaps in social infrastructure, healthcare, education, and
livelihoods through 25 targeted interventions implemented by 17 line ministries.
▪ By fostering convergence and expanding outreach, the initiative is committed to ensuring holistic development for tribal communities
▪ From June 15 to July 15, 2025, a nationwide Awareness & Benefit Saturation Campaign for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) awareness, screening, and counseling will also be held in SCD-affected tribal states during this period.
Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan
▪ Ministry of Tribal Affairs has officially launched Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan on August 2025
▪ It was envisaged as the world’s largest tribal grassroots leadership programme, aimed at
empowering tribal communities, strengthening responsive governance, and creating local
leadership opportunities across the country.
▪ This initiative forms a key part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi
▪ Ministry of Women and Child Development launched Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi – an initiative that transforms Anganwadi Centres into vibrant early learning hubs.
▪ For the first time, Anganwadi workers are being systematically trained in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), focusing on activity-based and play-oriented approaches using local and indigenous materials.
▪ Budget allocations for teaching-learning materials have also been significantly enhanced, and
monthly Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) days have been institutionalised
Aadharshila
▪ Ministry has introduced Aadharshila, the National Curriculum for Early Childhood Care and
Education for children aged 3-6 years.
▪ Aadharshila focuses on the holistic development of children emphasising not only intellectual
growth but also emotional, physical, and social well-being.
▪ It approaches learning through structured play, allowing children to grow and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Make in India
▪ As part of the nation-building efforts, the Prime Minister launched the Make in India initiative in September 2014.
▪ Designed to transform India into a global design and manufacturing hub, Make in India was a
timely solution to a critical situation
