- NLCIL has been presented with second ‘Best Enterprise Award’ in the Navratna category for the year 2019, instituted by the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) in recognition of its commendable work done for the empowerment of women employees in the organization and for the welfare of women & children in the villages around Neyveli.
- The award, instituted by the Central APEX Forum of WIPS, functioning under the aegis of SCOPE is being presented annually to select PSUs in recognition of the commendable efforts made to harness the growth and development of women in PSUs.
