UDISE+ 2024-25 Report
▪ In the academic year 2024-25, for the first time in the country, the number of school teachers has crossed 1 crore, as revealed by data from the Ministry of Education.
▪ Improvement in Student-Teacher Ratio: The National Education Policy recommends that schools should have one teacher for every 30 students.
▪ This leads to benefits in education such as providing additional attention to each student, strengthening interaction between teachers and students, contributing to enhanced learning experiences, and improving teaching effectiveness.
In Tamil Nadu
▪ Tamil Nadu has one teacher for every 23 students. The number of single-teacher schools has decreased by approximately 6 percent.
▪ Similarly, the number of schools with no student enrollment has also declined by approximately 38 percent.
▪ In the academic year 2024-25, the student dropout rate has decreased significantly.

▪ safest cities:

▪ Tamil Nadu was third in Fixed Capital (8.09%), Output (10.11%), and Gross Value Added (10.26%).
▪ Tamil Nadu was home to 15.43% of the factories across the country, followed by Gujarat.
▪ Tamil Nadu accounting for 15.24% in terms of number of people were employed in factories across the country followed by Gujarat
▪ Tamil Nadu remained as the talent capital as well as the manufacturing capital of India
