'Chief Minister's Pharmacy' Scheme ▪ This scheme has been launched in all 38 districts. A total of 1,000 'Chief Minister's Pharmacies' will be opened - 500 through entrepreneurs and 500 through the Cooperative Department. ▪ A total of 274 types of generic medicines, branded medicines, and nutrition packages have been procured. The Cooperative and Public Health Departments purchase and distribute medicines. ▪ People with diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease need to take pills daily. Beneficiaries can save 50 to 75 percent monthly on medicine purchases. ▪ Medicines will be delivered by vehicles within 48 hours of receiving the prescription list.
