About the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) ▪ The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) was established on March 1, 2002, under the Energy Conservation Act, 2001. ▪ It operates under the Ministry of Power, Government of India and aims to enhance energy efficiency across various sectors ▪ Its primary objective is to reduce the energy intensity of the Indian economy through policy-making, regulations, and market-driven initiatives.
