Science and Technology Generic drugs to treat four rare diseases launched The Union Health Ministry has made available generic drugs to support the care and treatment of four ailments: TyrosinemiaType 1 Gauchers Disease Wilson’s Disease DravetLennox Gastaut Syndrome The Ministry is also in the process of making available drugs for more rare diseases, including Phenylketonuria and Hyperammonemia in the coming months.

India successfully test fired two supersonic BrahMos missiles to check their precision in hitting long distance targets. The object with an inscription ‘BrahMoas BIFP-04’ in bright red colour may weigh close to 70 kg.
