- Five months after rolling out its electric-vehicles policy, the Tamil Nadu government said it will set up an exclusive industrial park for manufacture and assembly of e-vehicles.
- While government officials are tight lipped about the location of the park, land parcels have been identified in Manalur in Tiruvallur district, some 50km north of Chennai.
