- Captain Tania Shergil created history on this Army Day by becoming the first-ever woman to ‘Parade Adjutant’ to lead an all-men contingent.
- The historic move came after she commanded the contingent with her head held high at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi Cantonment on January 15.
