▪ The Parliament has recently passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025
▪ Act aims to establish a framework to promote the online gaming sector for innovation and
economic growth.
▪ It was introduced as a Finance bill under Article 117(1) and 117(3) which requires the
recommendation of the President
