KONKAN Exercise
▪ The Indian and British navies are set to conduct a joint naval exercise in the Indian Ocean for
eight days.
▪ The exercise is being led by the British aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales.
▪ It is being conducted to demonstrate the commitment of both nations to ensuring safe and free sea routes.
DHUANI Hypersonic Missile
▪ It has been developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
▪ It can travel at a speed five to six times faster than sound.
▪ The missile is designed in such a way that no country’s air defence system can intercept or destroy it.
