Prime Minister’s “Dhan Dhanaya Krushi” Scheme
 This scheme, along with the Pulses Production Mission, was launched by the Prime Minister during a special agriculture event at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Delhi.
 Development projects in Karnataka, Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh related to agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing were also inaugurated.
 The Pulses Production Mission aims to increase pulse production in India by 2030–31 compared to current levels, reducing dependence on imports while meeting global demand.

Prime Minister’s “Dhan Dhanaya Krushi” Scheme
 Approved by the Union Cabinet on 16 July 2025.
 To be implemented over six years from 2025–26.
 Objectives include:
 Enhancing agricultural productivity
 Promoting crop diversification
 Encouraging sustainable farming practices
 Improving post-harvest storage and irrigation facilities
 Increasing access to credit for farmers
Karaikal Fisheries Modernization Project
 The Prime Minister inaugurated the Smart and Integrated Fisheries Development Project in Karaikal district under the Prime Minister’s Mateen Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
 Faced with the increasing demand for fisheries, the Puducherry government is making efforts to expand and modernize the fisheries sector.
 As part of the Blue Revolution, the aim is to promote sustainable and responsible fisheries
development and to develop the northern bank of the Arakial Mullaivar for mechanized fishing boats and the southern bank for motorized fibre-reinforced plastic boats.
 Karaikal has been selected as one of the leading locations in the country for the Smart and Integrated Fisheries Project
National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC)
 The NCSC is a constitutional body in India.
 Its headquarters is located in New Delhi.
 Article 338 of the Indian Constitution deals with the provisions related to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC).
Objective:
 To protect the Scheduled Castes and Anglo-Indian community from violations of their rights and various forms of exploitation.
 To safeguard their social, economic, educational, and cultural interests.
Fund for Women’s Assistance in India
 854 centres have been established across the country under the Nirbhaya Fund to provide assistance to women affected by violence.
 This was announced by the Union Minister for Women and Child Development.
 The scheme is implemented under the operational framework of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
