CMS-03 communication satellite
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch military communications satellite CMS-03 on November 2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
- It is also known as GSAT-7R, will be launched by the Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3).
- Weight: Approximately 4,400 kg.
- The heaviest communication satellite to be launched to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) from Indian soil.
- This will be the LVM3 rocket’s first launch in over two years, with its last deployment being the launch of the Chandrayaan-3 mission in July 2023.
