Asian Youth Kabaddi
- The Chief Minister has presented a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakh each to Abinesh Mohandas from Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, and Karthika Ramesh from Kannagi Nagar, Chennai, who won gold medals in Kabaddi at the Asian Youth Games
- Kabaddi was introduced for the first time in these games held from the 19th to the 23rd at the Isa Sports City in Riba, Bahrain.
- India topped both the men’s and women’s categories in the final.
