Exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’
- ‘Sagar Kavach’ is a biannual multi-agency coastal security exercise conducted along India’s coastline to assess real-time preparedness against seaborne threats, intrusions, and infiltration attempts.
- Conducted in Cuddalore and Villupuram districts, covering coastline, fishing harbours, and vital installations.
- Held as a two-day exercise November 20 – 21, 2025.
- Jointly carried out by the Indian Coast Guard, Indian Navy, district police, Coastal Security Group (Tamil Nadu Police) and other coastal security stakeholders.
