T.N. Rising Summit
- Tamil Nadu will sign several MoUs in aerospace and defence at the T.N. Rising Summit in Coimbatore on November 25.
- Coimbatore is being positioned as a high-tech industrial & innovation hub.
- Focus areas of this year’s conclave:
- Drones and small aircraft
- Data centres
- Digital infrastructure
- Global Capability Centres (GCC)
About T.N. Rising Summit
- Coimbatore edition is the third T.N. Rising Summit (following Thoothukudi and Hosur), reinforcing the government’s commitment to shifting the spotlight away from the capital city of Chennai.
- The summit aims to attract investments to tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
- Goal: Promote balanced and inclusive industrial growth across Tamil Nadu.
Curriculum Revision Committees in Tamil Nadu
- High-Level Committee formed under School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh to revise and develop curricula as per Tamil Nadu State Education Policy 2025.
- Members: 13 members, including ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan, School Education Secretary P. Chandramohan (Vice Chairman), and Finance Secretary Udayachandran.
- Curriculum Design Committee led by environmental scientist Sultan Ahmed Ismail.
- Draft curriculum expected to be ready in December 2025.
