- Its maiden orbital launch is targeted for early 2026.
- It is named in honor of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the pioneer of the Indian space program.
- It is designed for the small satellite launch market, aiming to provide rapid and affordable access to space.
- It is designed to launch satellites weighing up to 350 kg into Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
- Low Earth Orbit is located at an altitude of 160 to 2,000 km from the Earth’s surface. The deployment of satellites into this orbit has significantly increased in recent years.
