One Case One Data Initiative

- Context: Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Monday announced in open court the launch of a major digital initiative “One Case One Data”
- It aimed at integrating judicial administration across all levels of courts in India.

- The system seeks to connect courts from the taluk level to the Supreme Court into a unified digital framework.
- Objective is to create a comprehensive, interconnected, and centralized judicial database.
Su Sahay AI Chatbot

- The CJI also launched “Su Sahay”, an AI-powered assistance chatbot.
- The chatbot has been integrated with the website of the Supreme Court of India.
- Purpose is to facilitate easier access to justice and court-related services for litigants and the general public.
10th Indian Ocean Dialogue (IOD)

- Context: The 10th Indian Ocean Dialogue was organised in New Delhi with the theme “Indian Ocean Region in a Transforming World.”
- India, serving as Chair of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (2025–27), used the platform to highlight maritime security, governance of the blue economy, and technological innovation under its MAHASAGAR vision.
- The dialogue assumed greater significance amid rising tensions in West Asia, disturbances in the Strait of Hormuz, and the sinking of the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Dena near Sri Lanka in March 2026.
Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA)
- IORA is an intergovernmental organisation established on 7 March 1997.
- The idea for the organisation emerged from the vision of former South African President Nelson Mandela during his 1995 visit to India.
- Initially, the grouping was called the Indian Ocean Rim Initiative (IORI), later renamed the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC), before adopting its present name.
- The Secretariat of IORA is located in Ebene, Mauritius, and is headed by a Secretary-General appointed for a fixed tenure.
- The Council of Ministers (COM) is the highest decision-making body of the organisation and meets annually.
