Bhavya Portal
- The Union Minister for Commerce and Industry launched the ‘Bhavya’ portal with the aim of accelerating the development of 100 industrial parks across the country.

Organ Donation in Tamil Nadu
- As of April 2026, 64% of organ donors in Tamil Nadu were from government hospitals.
- The number of deceased organ donors rose from 156 in 2022 to 268 in 2024, and remained high at 266 in 2025.
- Non-Transplant Organ Retrieval Centres (NTORCs) facilities that retrieve organs but do not perform transplants contributed approximately 15% of organ donations and helped increase the number of donors.
- The Transplant Authority of Tamil Nadu (TRANSTAN) coordinates activities related to organ donation and transplantation across the state.
