Key Features

    • Cloud-based HMIS software developed for small hospitals and clinics.
    • Created as an alternative to the expensive and complex HMIS systems currently in use.
  • Designed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
  • Does not require specialized IT expertise.
  • Easily accessible via various internet-enabled devices.

DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) – India’s ‘One Nation, One Digital Platform’

  • Context: The Central Government has stated that DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) has emerged as India’s ‘One Nation, One Digital Platform’ for school education.
  • It provides curriculum-aligned digital learning resources to students and teachers across the country.

About DIKSHA

  • Launched in 2017.
  • Implemented under the leadership of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in collaboration with the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET). 
  • Supports foundational literacy and numeracy (covering education up to the higher secondary level).
  • Adopted by education boards across most Indian states and Union Territories.

Key Features

    • States can customize content in their regional languages ​​and align it with their respective curricula.
    • Ensures continuous learning through digital technology.
  • Provides the following digital learning resources:Videos, 2D and 3D animations, Augmented Reality, Virtual labs, Simulations,Indian Sign Language videos,QR-coded books,Accessibility features
