World Population Day
- World Population Day is observed annually on July 11.
- It was established by the United Nations in 1989.
- The official theme for World Population Day 2026 is “Realizing the hopes and aspirations of young people – today and for the future.”

- Awiqli (generically known as ‘insulin icodec’) is a long-acting ‘basal’ insulin. It is the world’s first and only once-weekly basal insulin; approved for medical use in adults with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, it provides basal blood sugar control that lasts for a full seven days.
