- DMK president M.K. Stalin unveiled the statue of party leader M.Karunanidhi in the Andamans.
He had already unveiled the statue of DMK founder Annadurai in 2013. Mr. Stalin agreed to include Andamans like Puducherry, as part of the DMK-Congress alliance in Tamilspeaking areas.
