- Carnatic vocalist Bombay Jayashri has been selected for the Sangita Kalanidhi award of the Music Academy for 2023.

About Sangita Kalanidhi award:
- It came into existence in 1942.
- The award is conferred by the Madras Music Academy.
- It is considered the highest award in the field of Carnatic music.

Indian Railways:
- Indian Railways is set to launch its 11th Vande Bharat Express train this month.
- The new semi-high speed train will run between New Delhi and Jaipur.
- The train is likely to be introduced in the third week of March, 2023 (after March 20, 2023).
About Vande Bharat:
- It is India’s first indigenously built engineless semi-high speed train. Earlier, it was known by the name Train 18.
- It has been built by the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.
- The train is a 100% ‘Make in India’ project.
