Indian Navy Day 2023 – December 4
- Indian Navy Day is celebrated every year to recognise the role and achievements of the Indian Navy.
- The day also commemorates the launch of ‘Operation Trident’ during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.
- Under Operation Trident’ Indian Navy launched three missile boats – INS Veer, INS Nipat, INS Nirghat and Vidyut towards Karachi and sank three Pakistani Navy ships

Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi.
- Objective – to revive the living bonds between Kashi and Tamil Nadu – two important centres of learning and culture in ancient India.
- It was launched as a part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme.
- The first edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam was held in 2022.
