- VOGSS aims to bring together countries of Global
- Theme: “An Empowered Global South for a Sustainable Future”.

- Global South refers to various countries that are sometimes described as “developing,” “less developed” or “underdeveloped.”
- It is separated from Global North (rich countries) by Brandt
- India hosted 1st and 2nd VOGSS in January and November of 2023
