Solar Panel Manufacturing Plant
▪ Chief Minister inaugurated the solar panel production operations at Tata Power (TP) Solar facility, established at a cost of Rs. 3,800 crore in the SIPCOT complex at Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli district.
▪ This solar cell and module manufacturing plant is the largest in India.
▪ The state-of-the-art facility is spread across 313 acres and has a production capacity of 4.3 gigawatts
