Kalaimamani Award Presentation Ceremony
The ceremony was held at Chennai Kalai Vanar Hall on 11th October 2025.
Awards were presented for the three-year period from 2021 to 2023, covering fields such as
literature, music, theatre, dance, and cinema.
A total of 90 individuals were announced as Kalaimamani awardees on 24th September 2025 and were honored on 11th October 2025.
About the Kalaimamani Award
The award has been conferred since 1954.
It is presented by the Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram.
Literature (Iyal) Category – Bharathiyar Award: Presented to Writer N. Murugesa Pandiyan.
Music (Isai) Category – M.S. Subbulakshmi Award: Presented to Singer K.J. Yesudas.
Dance (Natya) Category – Bala Saraswathi Award: Presented to Muthukannammal by the Chief Minister.
