- An investigation into coronary artery disease has been launched at Thanjavur Medical College Hospital. Laboratories are only a few places in Tamil Nadu to test for coronavirus infection. This resulted in a delay in reporting the results. To overcome this, the Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the Corona Test Lab will be set up in all Medical College Hospitals.
