India-UK Agreement
 The Indian Army has signed a contract worth ₹4,100 crore with a UK company.
 Agreements were signed to strengthen bilateral ties across various sectors, including the defense sector.
 The Indian Army stated that this will fulfill the current and future requirements of the Ministry of Defense in achieving the Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) goal.
India to supply Akash missiles to Brazil
 Akash is an indigenously manufactured air defense system in India.
 It has the capability to accurately strike and destroy aerial targets from the ground.
 India and Brazil have already decided to collaborate in the bilateral defense sector.
 The system can destroy enemy fighter aircraft, helicopters, and drones at a range of up to 25 km in the airspace.
