World Wildlife Crime Report 2024
The third edition of the UN World Wildlife Crime Report 2024 was recently released by the
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
The report provides insights into the illegal wildlife trade that occurred between 2015 and 2021.
Key Findings
Rhino horns, pangolin scales, and elephant ivory lead the illegal wildlife market.
During 2015-2021, rhinoceroses and cedars were the most impacted animal and plant
species respectively.
