Unemployment for Women in the Country Reduced to 3.2%
- The Ministry of Labor and Employment has reported that the labor force participation rate for women workers in the country has increased to 41.7 percent, while unemployment among women has decreased from 5.6 percent to 3.2 percent.
- The female labor force participation rate, which stood at 23.3 percent in 2017-18, has increased to 41.7 percent in 2023-24.
- Unemployment among women has also reduced from 5.6 percent to 3.2 percent.
