Former Indian footballer Abdul Latif passes away
  • Renowned footballer and coach Abdul Latif passed away last night after prolonged illness. He was 72. The former international footballer left behind his wife and two daughters.
  • Latif, who played as a midfielder, represented India in the 1970 Asian Games where the team had won a bronze. He also represented two big clubs of Kolkata-Mohammedan Sporting and Mohun Bagan during late sixties and early part of seventies.
