Biporjoy storm in Arabian Sea
- A cylonic storm that formed over east-central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea near Goa intensify into a severe cyclonic storm.
- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said “The cyclonic storm ‘Biporjoy’ named by Bangladesh.
This is the second cyclone to form in the North Indian Ocean after Cyclone Mocha (2023).
